Over the years, I've found that consistency in a few key areas makes everything else easier. These aren't revolutionary biohacks or extreme protocols—just simple practices that have become non-negotiable parts of how I move through the world.
Fuel Food and juice are medicine. I pay attention to what goes into my body because I can feel the difference immediately. Not obsessive, just intentional. For example fresh, live juice is almost like receiving an intravenous infusion of vitamins, minerals, and enzymes because they go straight into your body. Recently in Brazil, I observed that vitality isn't complicated—it's compositional. Fresh fruit and juice form the consistent nutritional foundation for locals, creating the metabolic efficiency and cellular function that naturally expresses as energy and resilience.
Movement & Recovery I stretch every morning—nothing fancy, just a few sun salutations getting my body ready for the day. Once a week, I get deep bodywork or massage. I've known since forever that getting regular bodywork is essential for keeping everything flowing, your lymphatic system, your gut working right, and your whole vibe on point. My muscles carry stress, and regular maintenance keeps me moving freely.
Heat & Sweat Sauna time isn't just about the heat—it's forced stillness, a reset button for both body and mind. Whether it's a proper sauna or just sweating through movement, I make sure it happens everyday..
Light Sunshine every day, even if it's just 10 minutes. Natural light sets my internal clock and lifts my mood in ways that no supplement can replicate.
Mouth taping for sleep has been a game changer for my sleep quality and energy levels. I naturally breathe through my nose most of the time. But the intentional practice of taping serves as a powerful forcing function. It ensures I maintain nasal breathing all night long, which filters the air, produces nitric oxide, and supports deeper, more restorative sleep.
I've also been intermittent fasting for years. I leave at least 14 hours between dinner and my first bite next day and yes, black coffee is fine :) I know women's hormone doctors are going to come after me when I say this but when done right by your body’s signals, it creates space for deeper cellular cleansing and digestive rest.
These habits aren't about perfection—they're about creating a foundation that supports everything else I want to do. Some days I hit all of them, some days I don't. But having them as guideposts keeps me centered.
What simple practices anchor your days?
